Bingo Kings Royal faced review rejections across multiple submission attempts due to: Invalid or Missing Platform URLs: Android platform links were either missing or incorrectly set in the Meta developer console. Privacy Policy Mismatch: The privacy policy link led to an unrelated site (Digital Flame), which didn't match the game name or describe data practices. Incomplete Screencast: Initial screencasts failed to demonstrate any Facebook-integrated gameplay — especially the core 'Play with Friends' feature. Unclear Use Case for user_friends: The review team flagged lack of clarity around how the user_friends permission was used in actual app functionality.
The Solution
Step 1: Platform Configuration Fix
Updated the Android platform configuration in the Meta Developer Dashboard to correctly link to the app’s live Google Play Store listing. This alignment enabled Meta reviewers to perform mobile-specific testing without mismatches or validation errors.
Step 2: Privacy Policy Validation and Deployment
Published a new, compliant privacy policy hosted on a professional and publicly accessible domain. The policy explicitly references the app name Bingo Kings Royal and clearly explains how public_profile, email, and user_friends data are collected, used, and protected in accordance with Meta Platform Policies.
Step 3: Screencast Redesign for Feature Verification
Recorded a comprehensive screencast demonstrating real user flows, including Facebook login, accessing and displaying the friend list, sending gifts to friends, starting multiplayer games with Facebook friends, and sharing in-game achievements to Facebook. This ensured full visibility of permission usage for Meta review.
Step 4: Permission Use Case Mapping and Documentation
Created detailed documentation mapping each requested permission to a concrete in-app feature: public_profile: Used to personalize the player experience (name, avatar). email: Used for account recovery and unique user identification. user_friends: Used to enable friend leaderboards, gifting mechanics, and 1v1 challenges. Each use case was both documented and visually demonstrated in the screencast.
Step 5: Final Review Readiness and Submission
Validated that all technical configurations, policy documents, and demonstration materials were consistent and review-ready. The updated assets were then submitted to Meta, resolving all previously identified blockers and enabling successful app review.
