The Challenge
Bingo Kings Royal faced review rejections across multiple submission attempts due to: Invalid or Missing Platform URLs: Android platform links were either missing or incorrectly set in the Meta developer console. Privacy Policy Mismatch: The privacy policy link led to an unrelated site (Digital Flame), which didn't match the game name or describe data practices. Incomplete Screencast: Initial screencasts failed to demonstrate any Facebook-integrated gameplay — especially the core 'Play with Friends' feature. Unclear Use Case for user_friends: The review team flagged lack of clarity around how the user_friends permission was used in actual app functionality.
The Solution
We intervened with a structured approval strategy to resolve all blockers: Platform Configuration Fix: Updated the Android platform link in Meta dashboard to reflect the app's actual Google Play listing, enabling mobile-specific testing. Valid Privacy Policy Deployment: Published a new, valid privacy policy that clearly states the app name (Bingo Kings Royal), describes use of public_profile, email, and friend data, and is hosted on a professional, accessible domain. Screencast Redesign: Recorded a screencast that clearly shows connecting to Facebook via login, accessing and displaying friend list, sending gifts to friends, starting multiplayer games with Facebook friends, and sharing achievements to Facebook. Permission Use Case Mapping: Documented and demonstrated the use of public_profile (to personalize the user experience), email (for account recovery and unique identification), and user_friends (to power in-game friend leaderboards, gifts, and 1v1 challenges).
