Connvo is a messaging unification platform that helps businesses manage customer conversations across multiple brands in one place. It allows users to connect Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts, and WhatsApp Business numbers to send, receive, and respond to messages from a single dashboard. Inspired by solutions like Chatwoot, Connvo integrates seamlessly with Meta's APIs to offer an all-in-one inbox, agent assignments, and brand-specific inboxes. Despite offering a powerful communication hub, Connvo struggled to get Meta approval due to privacy policy issues, missing screencast elements, login errors, and vague handling of Instagram and WhatsApp messaging flows. We stepped in to manage the entire approval lifecycle, fix the technical and compliance gaps, and secure all requested permissions.

The Challenge
Invalid Privacy Policy Page: Meta reviewers couldn't access or verify the privacy policy, which was required for data access permissions. OAuth Login Errors: Facebook login attempts failed during the review process due to redirect or error page bugs. Invalid Screencasts: Screencasts were either screen-recorded using external devices or missed key flows (like message handling and login). Missing Use of pages_messaging: The reviewers noted that messaging features were not demonstrated clearly for Facebook Pages. WhatsApp Template Management Not Shown: Screencasts didn't include the message template creation and management flows. Instagram Message Handling: Unused/seen messages weren't clearly shown or explained in the Instagram screencast, leading to another rejection.
